Center for Neuroscience and Behavior at Miami University
The Miami University Center for Neuroscience is an interdisciplinary research center on the campus of Miami University - Oxford. Both M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in neuroscience research are offered through the Department of Zoology or the Department of Psychology.
Our mission is to promote neuroscience research as well as to train graduate students for a career in developmental, cellular, molecular, and/or behavioral neuroscience. Neuroscience research takes place in laboratories in Pearson Hall and Benton Hall.
The Faculty of the Neuroscience Program are involved in research areas that encompass cellular, molecular, and developmental neurobiology, neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, neurochemistry, neuroendocrinology, neuropharmacology and neuroimaging.
