There is no language requirement
for medical school. Accordingly, any language at Miami can be used to fulfill the
requirements of the College of Arts and Science. If you are undecided as to which
language to pursue in meeting the College requirement then you may want to consider
Spanish. Unlike the other languages, Spanish is becoming a more prominent language
within the United States and having an ability to communicate with a patient or relative
of a patient who can only speak Spanish can be very useful to you in your future
as a practicing healthcare professional.
